Stop 1: Kalahari Desert, Africa
The Kalahari Desert in Africa was the first stop of Dr. Spencer Wells, and is where the San Bushmen tribe lives. The San Bushmen are the descendents of those who originally left Africa almost 50,000 years ago, he humans occurred, due to what is known as the Quantum leap. It is said that in order to successfully make their journey, they had to have been "super humans". Due to the dry and barren landscape in which they live, the Bushmen have developed advanced means of tracking and a different language. The language they use is made up of clicks and other sounds, which represent no other modern language we have ever heard before. Because of this, we know that they are connected to our ancestors. Also, it is likely that this tribe helped populate the Earth because of their traits. Their skin represents that of African Americans, their cheeks represent the Mongols and their eyes represent those of Asians.
